Workouts from your watch didn’t show up

Tada! doesn’t connect to Strava or Garmin. It only reads Apple Health or Health Connect — and finds a workout there on its own as soon as that app writes it in. Some apps don’t do that by default. It’s one switch on their side, not ours.

iPhone · Apple Health

  1. Garmin Connect → More → Settings → Apple Health → turn on writing to Apple Health.
  2. Strava → Settings → Applications, Services, and Devices → Health → allow it to write workouts.
  3. Done. Your next workout will show up in Tada! too, with nothing else to set up.

Android · Health Connect

  1. On Android 13 and older, install Health Connect from Google Play. On Android 14 and newer, it’s already built in.
  2. Garmin Connect → Settings → Health Connect → allow it to write activities.
  3. Strava → Settings → Health Connect → allow it to write workouts.
  4. In Health Connect, check that Tada! is allowed to read workouts (Health Connect calls them Exercise).

When a workout shows up twice

When both apps write, one workout can show up twice. Tada! then only counts the longer one.
