Why Tada! needs access to health data
Tada! asks for two things: steps and workout minutes. It reads nothing else — no heart rate, no distance, no calories.
Without this access, the app can’t tell whether a day was active, and your streak has nothing to stand on.
Where the data goes
Nowhere. It’s counted on your phone and never sent to our server. Your buddy only sees whether you’re done for the day — not how many steps it took.
How to allow access after saying no
iPhone: Settings → Privacy & Security → Health → Tada!
Android: Settings → Security and privacy → More privacy settings → Health Connect → App permissions → Tada!
Once it’s allowed, go back to the app and pull down on the Today screen.
